Höstrusk. Halloween. Alla själars afton. Vi tar helg, håller avstånd, stannar hemma, tänder ljus och tänker på dem som inte längre finns med oss. En av dem är Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou mer känd som George Michael, (född 25 Juni 1963 – död 25 December 2016). Vi bemästrar mörkret med en skön låt från hans debutalbum som släpptes den 30 oktober 1987 och inledde hans solokarriär efter Wham. Det blev succé, albumet toppade listorna, fick årets Grammy för Album of the Year och blev årets mest sålda skiva 1988 i USA och har sålt i över 25 milljoner ex.
George Michael förklarade varför just låten Faith blev titelspåret; ”It’s kind of another word for my hope and optimism. You know, faith to me is just really such a strong word and the more I got into the idea of the song being the single, the more I liked the idea of using it as the title track.”
